Our Purpose
Having launched in 2025 as a Lloyd’s Coverholder and MGA – the sole purpose was to establish a truly ‘hyper-focused’ MGA specialising in what we know. In a market saturated with MGAs claiming to be specialists, with generic product offerings, we established a unique market position in creating and launching bespoke underwriting products and solutions, supported by Lloyd’s capacity. This gave the idea of creating a side-car MGA within our insurance intermediary group, Superian Insurance Group, to better serve our dedicated broker-clients.
The Future
As we adapt and evolve with market changes, we look forward to building a dedicated, hyper-focused MGA that covers specialty lines and takes an education-led approach to advising our broker-clients on gaps in cover, coverage options, and the solutions available through Scious. Being part of Superian allows us to leverage group-wide expertise and resource, enabling efficient processes and dedicated service levels.

Co-Founder & Executive Director
Noah Jamal (BSc Hons)
Noah is the visionary leader of Superian Insurance Group. Known for his entrepreneurial flair, strategic foresight, people-centred approach, Noah has been instrumental in the global expansion of the group and group-wide restructuring since 2023. Since founding the business in 2011, Noah has propelled the group forward, steering it through a once regional broker, to a global insurance intermediary, with a footprint throughout UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Prior to founding the Group, Noah had a uniquely different career path as an Emerging Market Credit & CDS sales trader. Noah established the group after a chance encounter having identified a niche in medical malpractice insurance for practitioners and entities. The previous experiences laid a strong foundation for risk management, discipline and work ethic, which has helped shaped the group to what is it today.
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Edwin Rajadurai (MBBS)
Edwin is a stakeholder in the wider group alongside the CEO, Noah Jamal, and serves the board level. He is responsible for the MGA’s strategy, capacity solutions, forecasting, and the development of both staff and underwriting solutions, ensuring that Scious consistently achieves its ambitious growth targets.
Since joining the group in 2015, Edwin has been instrumental in establishing the Medical Malpractice and Healthcare division, which has become a cornerstone of the firm’s reputation in the market – having led to the birth of Scious, as a dedicated healthcare MGA and Lloyd’s Coverholder. His leadership has shaped group’s international healthcare offering, positioning it as a leading provider of bespoke insurance solutions for medical and healthcare organisations and professionals worldwide.
Before transitioning to the insurance industry, Edwin qualified in medicine in 2011, working across various clinical settings, including his final post in a GP clinic. This medical background allows him to approach challenges with empathy and a deep understanding of client needs, fostering enduring relationships with both colleagues and market participants.
